Premiering today: InPrint 2014, the world’s first industrial print show, opens in Hannover

(PresseBox) (St Albans, )
InPrint 2014, the first trade exhibition exclusively dedicated to print solutions for industrial applications and manufacturing, will officially be launched today at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds in Germany. From 8-10 April, exhibitors will showcase a wide range of printing machines, systems and accessories for Speciality, Screen, Digital, Inkjet and 3D Printing.

InPrint is the first industry event to cover the enormous scope of printing applications in industrial processes, including: Print onto primary, secondary and tertiary packaging; Functional and decorative print in the production of electronic devices, touchscreens, automotive, and white goods; Decorative print on textiles, soft furnishings, and apparel; Print that will mass-customise tiles, glass, metal, laminate, flooring panels, and other building material; Print technology that is used to inject chemicals for pharmaceutical production; 3D print for rapid prototyping, modelling, architecture, automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics, packaging and personal manufacturing.

The exhibitor line-up features more than 100 leading brand names and innovative niche companies from the printing sector, including Agfa, Caldera, Canon, Durst, Epson, Fujifilm, Konica Minolta, Huntsman, Hymmen, Kiian, Lumejet, Machines Dubuit, Mimaki, Marabu, Neschen, Nor-Cote, Ricoh, SPGPrints, Stratasys, Thieme, Xaar, Xennia, and Zünd, marking this event as the most comprehensive collection of industrial print technology in the world.

Visitors can look forward to a large number of exhibits, live demonstrations and speaker presentations organised by top industry experts and print machine makers. They will present high-precision machinery and custom-made printing systems that have successfully been implemented in manufacturing, as well as special inks, solvents, print heads, and other accessories that guarantee a print of high quality and durability as required for most manufacturing processes.

Designed as a networking and business event, InPrint aims at print specialists from the entire supply chain who seek to improve their print production process, realise new print projects for their industrial customers, or invest in new applications and business opportunities in this highly attractive growth sector. This includes print providers, production managers, system integrators, technical directors, heads of R&D and designers. At InPrint, they have the chance to meet the leading manufacturers of print equipment in person, learn about new technologies and industry applications, and discuss individual printing requirements for their own production process.

With InPrint, exhibition organisers FM Brooks have created a key industry platform for a strategically very important market that is driven by ongoing consumer growth and a trend towards mass customisation. The ability of modern print technologies to create technical and functional layers within the production process offers immense potential for better, faster and more efficient manufacturing. In recognition of the thematic relevance to industrial manufacturing, InPrint 2014 will be co-located to Hannover Messe 2014, the world’s leading exhibition for industrial technology.
