The annual international service training took place at German LUM headquarters in Berlin from 6 - 10 July. In parallel to the permanent qualification of the distributors in applications and sales, this training forms the basis for the fast and qualified technical on-site support of our customers around the world.
The rising number of dispersion and stability analysers in pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industries comes along with an increasing integration of LUMiSizer and LUMiFuge in the quality assurance systems there. This involves required instrument qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ), as precondition for their work under GMP guidelines.
Successfully passing the training course now a staff member of the Italian partner Qi SRL as well as a technician of Rishabh Metals & Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. in India are authorized to perform LUM instrument qualifications on-site.
Following the scheduled re-qualification of one service technician and the training of a further person, LUM customers in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan now get rapid technical support and planned maintenance for the new products LUMiReader X-Ray and LUMiFrac, too.
