Logic Instrument, one of the major manufacturers of industrial and military mobile computers and display solutions for extreme environments, announced today the extension of the contact with Singapore Technologies Kinetics (STK). In November 2009 STK signed a contact to supply Triton rugged displays from Logic’s OptiVue series. This new 970.000€ contract extension confirms STK’s satisfaction and confidence in Logic Instrument. The delivery of the products will be between May 2011 and February 2013.
STK is the land systems and specialty vehicles arm of Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering). Logic Instrument designed the Triton display (3x 8.4“ screens in one unit) for STK to integrate into the dashboard of the 3rd generation Terrex vehicle, which is built for ground troop transport. Connected to cameras installed outside on the vehicle, these systems are designed to provide the driver a 360° real-time view of the external environment.
