Zur Konfiguration wird der blueLino einfach an die USB-Schnittstelle eines Windows-XP/Vista/7 (32-bit)-Rechners angeschlossen. Per Druck auf einen kleinen Button am Bluetooth Musikempfänger wird der Konfigurationsmodus aktiviert. Nun können neben dem Ausgangspegel auch PIN oder Bluetooth Name eingestellt werden, etwa für den Fall, dass mehrere blueLinos gleichzeitig betrieben werden. In Kürze wird darüber hinaus auch ein "Apple Modus" in das Tool integriert, der mit einem einzigen Klick die Optimierung der Soundqualität für iPods, iPhones, iPads und Macs ermöglicht.
