The effective use of the network and the increased reliability results from switching the optical paths using a matrix switch - the network can be flexibly reconfigured to quickly react to changing requirements.

Glimmerglass' intelligent signal selection and monitoring solution makes it possible to extract individual optical signals from the data stream, analyze them, and ensure the integrity of the optical transmission paths. This secures the transmission quality and prevents cyber attacks.
