Der Name ist der alte, aber das war es auch schon. Zur 75. Ausgabe der Photonics News wagt das Familienunternehmen einen Schritt entgegen aller Trends: Die bisherige Firmenzeitung wurde eingestellt und stattdessen ein 28-seitiges Magazin aufgelegt, das lesenswert für ganz unterschiedliche Zielgruppen ist.

„Der Leserkreis der Photonics News ist bunt gemischt und wir möchten so viele Adressaten wie eben möglich ansprechen - vom Ingenieur bis zum nicht-technischen Mitarbeiter", begründet Patrick Paul, Geschäftsführer der Laser Components GmbH in Olching, die Entscheidung zum Magazin.

So wurde nicht nur das Format geändert sondern auch die Inhalte haben sich verschoben: In der Photonics News wird nun ebenso über Messen berichtet wie über Unternehmen oder auch Anwendungen - natürlich werden auch neue Produkte vorgestellt.

Das Kundenmagazin ist kostenfrei erhältlich und wird in einer Auflage von 18.000 Exemplaren gedruckt.
