LASER COMPONENTS stellt neuen Partner RIO vor

ECL Laser für die Fasersensorik

Ab sofort sind die Laserquellen des Herstellers Redfern Integrated Optics, RIO, auch bei LASER COMPONENTS erhältlich. Die Single Frequency External Cavity Laser (ECL), die auf RIO’s proprietärer Planartechnologie PLANEX™ basieren, eigenen sich für Remote Sensing Systeme, für die hochauflösende Spektroskopie oder für die faseroptische Präzisionsmesstechnik.

Alle PLANEX™ Laser bestehen aus einem Verstärkerchip und einer planaren Wellenleiterstruktur (PLC) mit integriertem Bragg-Gitter. Durch Kopplung dieser Elemente entsteht ein Laser mit großer Laserkavität und Ausgangsleistungen bis 20 mW. Weitere Merkmale sind ein kleiner RIN (relative intensity noise), ultraniedriges Phasenrauschen, schmale Linienbreite und eine geringe Wellenlängenempfindlichkeit bzgl. Bias-Strom und Temperatur.
