Addition to Rigaku ProgenyTM product line - The new ResQTM
Rigaku has released a new version of the proclaimed handheld Raman analyzer ProgenyTM, the ResQTM. The ResQ™ provides emergency responders, law enforcement agencies and the military with the industry’s most comprehensive chemical detection range in a fast and simple handheld form.
Progeny ResQ enables users to detect, identify and respond to sophisticated chemical threats and global drug trafficking with confidence.

Users can now analyze colored materials or substances found in packaging or containers. Results are provided within seconds at the touch of a button and the simple Threat/No Threat readings mean that there is no uncertainty. It is even possible to analyze threats quickly and accurately while wearing M3-type protective suits in harsh environments. Display tags also indicate the severity of the risk posed by the substance as well as the NFPA rating.

Suitable for use in rugged environments, Progeny ResQTM is a MIL-SPEC 810G tested tool and has a standard library of over 12,000 common materials. As part of the Rigaku reachback support program Progeny ResQ is backed by a global support partner network to ensure assistance when needed.

Fabry-Perot MEMS Sensor system - Spectral Engines revolutionizes industrial sensing
Spectral Engines provides unique miniaturized spectral sensors for detection and analysis of gases, solids and liquids to improve the quality and energy efficiency in manufacturing. The devices are used, for example, for measuring moisture in process industry, food content (protein, fat, sugars), and for gas detection and analysis.

The unique scalable technology enables size and cost reduction in the next generation of spectral measurement.

Spectroscopy solutions from Brimrose - Supplying now also in the Nordics
Laser 2000 GmbH is now also supplying the spectrometry line of products from Brimrose in the Nordics.

Brimrose's rugged and high performance on-line NIR process spectrometers deliver fast-responding and multi-component analysis for a variety of process applications throughout the pharmaceutical, food & dairy, chemical, polymer, petrochemicals, agricultural, pulp & paper, wine industries and military. The AOTF technology (Acousto-Optical Tunable Filter) enables the Brimrose spectrometers to scan very fast and without using moving parts. This makes it the ideal tool for real-time, on-line industrial process control and PAT (process analytical technology). These analyzers are built to work reliably in on-line applications even in long term harsh production environments.
