Among the focal points of Rheinmetall Automotive's presentation in Wolfsburg is its expertise in electrical and variable-output auxiliary equipment such as water, vacuum and oil pumps. This is rounded off by information on the global competence in castings as well as the current generation of pistons and plain bearing materials. There are also fuel-reduction and air-management products on show. In addition, Rheinmetall Automotive will inform visitors on its developments in components and assemblies for present and future drive systems; hybrid, battery and fuel cell.

Mechatronics incorporates the Pierburg company, specializing in modules and assemblies for pollution reduction, solenoid valves, actuators, and components for trucks and offroad vehicles. Last but not least, the Aftermarket division with its Motorservice brand covers the global parts business in over 130 countries. In 2015, Rheinmetall Automotive generated sales of €2.6 billion. It has more than 40 production plants and a workforce of 11,000 worldwide.
