So geschehen am Bilster Berg, einer der neuen deutschen Rennstrecken in Ostwestfalen-Lippe. Dort hat sich der PS-Enthusiast jetzt einen für den Polizeidienst ausgerüsteten Survivor-R angesehen und Probe gefahren.
Im Dialog mit Klaas Krause, Projektleiter für das Fahrzeug bei der Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles GmbH (RMMV), checkt „JP“ auf seine ganz besondere humorvolle Art die Details des geschützten Sonderfahrzeugs mit seinen 13 Tonnen Leergewicht und 1.250 Nm Drehmoment, das auf einem handelsüblichen MAN Chassis aufbaut. Dabei prüft er nicht nur alle Features sondern vor allem die Stadt- und Alltagstauglichkeit des beeindruckenden Transport- und Schutzfahrzeugs für Sondereinsatzkräfte der Polizei. Sein Fazit: Der Survivor bietet Mobilität und Sicherheit.
