Endoscopic training in virtual reality

Training young physicians is essential to surgical success and patient safety. Clearly, training should be realistic and complex, so that young physicians can be fully prepared to work at the real operating table. Virtual training with simulation systems is a modern tool to familiarize physicians with the specific and complex requirements of endoscopy, such as eye-hand coordination and use of the endoscopic camera and endoscopic instruments.
