Kultobjekt: hofe Regale begleiten die Ausstellung von Ata Macias

Ausstellungseröffnung im Museum Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt am Main

Als am Wochenende die Ausstellung "Give Love Back" im Museum Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt eröffnet wurde, war die Aufregung auch bei Christiane Sieper-Meyer (Geschäftsführerin) und Heinz-Werner Frank (Prokurist) von Julius vom Hofe deutlich spürbar. Schließlich kommt es auch nicht alle Tage vor, dass ein Industrieunternehmen mit seinen Produkten einen glanzvollen Auftritt im Museum hat.

Das schöne Dinge auch eine besondere Präsentation brauchen war dem Künstler, DJ,Club- und Restaurant-Betreiber aus Frankfurt sofort klar als er seine Ausstellung plante. Denn was helfen die schönsten Exponate, wenn sie nicht entsprechend präsentiert werden. Mit den Worten "hofe-Regale sind Kult" wendet sich der Künstler mit seiner Projektleiterin Gabi Schirrmacher an Christiane Sieper-Meyer, Geschäftsführerin im Lüdenscheider Unternehmen Julius vom Hofe. So wurden aus handelsüblichen Stahlregalen für die Industrie nun trendige Kunstobjekte.

Als Struktur gebende Elemente werden auf über 50 eisblauen Regalen mehr als 30 Künstler-Editionen und Produkte von über 40 außergewöhnlichen Markenlabels präsentiert, insgesamt rund 500 Werke. Dass Regale nicht nur industriell und trist sein müssen, beweist der Künstler mit der gekonnten Inszenierung und einer zusätzlichen Regalserie hier eindrucksvoll. Seine Farbauswahl für die Dreierkombination 'hofe Home' in Zinkgelb, Taubenblau und Graubeige runden das Gesamtkunstwerk in den modernen Räumlichkeiten des Museums ab.

Das Museen nicht zwangsläufig langweilig und angestaubt sein muss, wird in der Ausstellung "Give Love Back" gezeigt - übrigens ein Zitat vom Buchcover "Come On in My Kitchen - The Robert Johnson Book". Die Szene nennt es das "Ata-Prinzip": Nicht das Kunstwerk steht im Mittelpunkt sondern die Entstehung. Hier wird die Entstehung oder Veränderung von Dingen des alltäglichen Lebens wie T-Shirts, Plakate, Schallplattencover, Schmuck und Mobiliar von verschiedenen Künstlern gezeigt. Herzstück der Ausstellung ist sicherlich der Concept Store. Hier werden die Exponate zum begehrten Mitnahme-Objekte: Es darf nicht nur geschaut wer-den - alles kann und darf berührt werden. Darüber hinaus können Interessierte die Objekte der Begierde in Ihr Leben integrieren - alles was hier zu sehen ist, kann auch gekauft werden.

Für Interessierte ist die Ausstellung "Give Love Back. Ata Macias und Partner" zu erleben bis zum 11. Januar 2015 im Museum Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt. Begleitend hierzu finden auch zahlreiche Workshops statt.
