Deutscher Verzinkerpreis wird zum 15. Mal ausgelobt

Der deutsche Verzinkerpreis für Architektur und Metallgestaltung geht in die 15. Runde. Architekten, Ingenieure, Stahl- und Metallbauer, Designer und Metallgestalter sind aufgerufen sich am Wettbewerb um den Award des Industrieverbandes Feuerverzinken zu beteiligen. Der mit 15.000 Euro dotierte Preis prämiert innovative Bauwerke, Objekte und Produkte, die im wesentlichen Umfang feuerverzinkt sind oder interessante feuerverzinkte Details enthalten. Eine unabhängige, hochkarätige Jury bestimmt die Preisträger in den beiden Kategorien Architektur und Metallgestaltung.

In seiner mehr als 25-jährigen Geschichte hat sich der Verzinkerpreis zu einem in der Fachwelt beachteten Podium für innovative Architektur und Metallgestaltung mit Stahl entwickelt. Preisträger des Jahres 2015 waren HHS Planer und Architekten AG für den Energiebunker Hamburg (1. Preis) und Königs Architekten für das Forschungsgewächshaus Campus Riedberg der Universität Frankfurt/M (2. Preis). Dritte Preise gingen an h.s.d. architekten für die Grundschule am Wasserturm, Karlsruhe sowie an hotz + architekten für das Druck- und Versandzentrum des LZfD Karlsruhe.

Der Industrieverband Feuerverzinken e.V. und seine Serviceorganisation, das Institut Feuerverzinken GmbH, vertreten die deutsche Stückverzinkungsindustrie.
