Am Dienstag, dem 28. Oktober 2014, startet die Vortrags- und Diskussionsreihe der Kooperationsstelle Hochschulen-Gewerkschaften Bremen. Ab 17:15 Uhr referieren in der Hochschule Bremerhaven (An der Karlstadt 10, 27568 Bremerhaven, Hörsaal K 02) Prof. Dr. Karlheinz Schwuchow, Professor für Internationales Management an der Hochschule Bremen und Experte im Bereich Führungskräfteentwicklung, sowie Uwe Schmidt, Vorsitzender des Betriebsrates Gesamthafenbetriebsverein im Lande Bremen e.V., über das Thema "Weiterbildung".

Die Referenten diskutieren Weiterbildungsangebote der Hochschulen versus fachlichen Weiterbildungsbedarf sowie die Umsetzung betrieblicher Weiterbildung am betriebspraktischen Beispiel des Personaldienstleisters Gesamthafenbetriebsverein. Eine Einführung gibt Prof. Dr. Gerhard Feldmeier, Konrektor für Internationalisierung und Weiterbildung an der Hochschule Bremerhaven.

Der Vortrag an der Hochschule Bremerhaven ist Teil der aktuellen Veranstaltungsreihe "Soziale Verantwortung von Betrieben" der Kooperationsstelle Hochschulen-Gewerkschaften Bremen. Ihr Anliegen ist es, Menschen aus der Arbeitswelt und den Gewerkschaften mit Wissenschaftlern und Wissenschaftlerinnen sowie Studierenden zu vernetzen.
