New member of the ROTO-PACKER family - the HAVER-ROTO CLASSIC®

The newest development at Haver & Boecker is the ROTO CLASSIC®, a packing machine for cement. This new system was introduced to cement industry customers and sales reps from all over the world during the HAVER Technology Days in mid October.

The ROTO CLASSIC® includes proven HAVER technology as standard features, e.g. the vertical turbine system and the electronic weighing system. What's new is its high grade of flexibility and reliability provided by the ROTO CLASSIC's modular design. Each filling module in itself can be viewed as a fully functional single-spout machine that can be optionally expanded as needed with various equipment. When removing a module, for example for the purpose of maintenance work, packing with the remaining modules can continue without any problem.

This new packing machine is compact and easy to maintain. With just a few motions of the hand, the main spare parts are easily and quickly replaced. The time for some maintenance work can be reduced considerably, for example exchanging the air ventilation jets is done with 70% less time. Its compact design in general also reduces needed space.

Moreover, the ROTO CLASSIC® is exceptionally operator friendly. The controls such as fine throttle blocks and switching elements are directly and easily accessible. They are placed at eye-level in full view of the machine operator. The simplified appearance facilitates orientation and makes the machine easy to understand.

In addition to its high packing speed of over 5000 bags per hour, HAVER technology assures clean packing operation - also when not using bag sealing systems. Reduced dust production and minimised energy consumption are additional advantages offered by the ROTO CLASSIC. Compared to other conventional systems, depending on the machine design, approximately 10 to 15% less energy is needed.
