Windenergieanlagen kennt heute jeder. Aber wie entsteht aus der Energie des Windes hochwertige Elektrizität? Wie kommt also der Strom aus der Windenergieanlage (WEA) ins Stromnetz? Welche elektrotechnischen Komponenten sind bei einer Windenergieanlage wichtig? Welche Herausforderungen sind bei der Netzeinspeisung zu lösen? Wie greift das komplexe Zusammenspiel von Generator, Leistungselektronik und Steuerung ineinander? Welche Schutzfunktionen gibt es? Welche Rolle spielen die WEA bei der Stabilisierung der Netze? Wie bekomme ich die großen Leistungen von den Offshore Windenergieanlagen an Land transportiert?

Diese und viele weitere Fragen behandelt das mehrmals jährlich stattfindende Seminar "Elektrische Systeme von Windenenergieanlagen - Grundlagen, Generatoren, Leistungselektronik und Netzanbindung" am 25. und 26. September 2014 in Hamburg. Im Mittelpunkt des Seminars steht das Gesamtverständnis für das elektrische System mit seinen vielen Facetten: unterschiedliche Generatortypen und Betriebsarten, Funktion und Wirkungsweise von Umrichtern, Leistungsregelung, typische Schadensbilder im Bereiche Elektrotechnik beim Betrieb von WEA sowie die rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen der Netzanschlussrichtlinien und die Netzeinbindung.
