Series-100 – up to 100 kVDC / 80 A

(PresseBox) (Hallbergmoos, )
GES Electronic & Service – a leader in high voltage connectivity – provides Series-100 single-pin high voltage connectors. Areas of application mainly are acceleration- and pulse voltages for ionization and electrostatic processes in analysis-, laboratory- and medical technologies as well as power electronics in general. Series-100 is particularly suited as voltage output on diverse high voltage sources.

Series-100 includes 12 types of HV-connectors for operating voltages of up to 100 kVDC (testing voltage 150 kVDC) and is suitable for a rated current of 30 or 80 A, dependent on the connector type. The insulation material used is PTFE or POM both according to DIN IEC 60664 and a CTI-value of 600. The robust screw housing of nickel-coated aluminum complies with protection class IP50 (mated condition) providing protection and mechanical firmness also for operation in harsh environments.

Series-100 can optionally be assembled with silver-plated 2.5 or 5 mm solder- or crimp-contacts for AWG 14 / AWG 8 (2.5 or 10 mm²). The plugs are suitable for cable diameters of 5-14 mm dependent on the connector type while receptacles are equipped with a roundflange also available as oiltight version for every connector type. Series-100 by default is equipped with metrical EMV-cable compression fittings; furthermore a cylindrical wedging enables easy screen connection.

The single-pin high voltage connectors of Series-100 are manifold and worldwide proven in a multitude of high voltage applications and are seen as a reliable, durable and well-engineered solution within their segment.
