Schulwettbewerb „Berliner Klima Schulen“

Ausgezeichnet: Das Klima-Engagement Berliner Schülerinnen und Schüler

Insgesamt 11 Projekte wurden heute bei der feierlichen Preisverleihung in der Neuköllner Oper mit Preisen im Gesamtwert von rund 15.000 Euro prämiert. Mark Rackles, Staatssekretär für Bildung in der Senatsverwaltung für Bildung, Corina Conrad-Beck von der Senatsverwaltung für Stadtentwicklung und Umwelt, Vera Gäde-Butzlaff, Vorstandsvorsitzende der GASAG und Marie-Luisa Wahn, Mitglied des BUNDjugend-Vorstands in Berlin, zeichneten heute als Vertreter der Initiatoren und Partner des Schulwettbewerbs die Preisträgerinnen und Preisträger aus. Berlins größter Schulwettbewerb zum Klimaschutz wird seit acht Jahren vom Land Berlin und der GASAG ausgeschrieben.

Über den 1. Platz und 5.000 Euro können sich die Grundschülerinnen und Grundschüler der Gustav-Falke-Schule im Wedding freuen. Der mit 3.000 Euro dotierte zweite Platz ging an die Alfred-Nobel-Schule in Britz für das Projekt „Ape und Fred retten die Welt“. Der dritte Platz und 2.000 Euro gingen an die Johannes-Schule in Wilmersdorf für das Projekt „Schüler für Klimaschutz“. Der Publikumspreis, über den per Online-Abstimmung entschieden wurde, ging an die Tempelherren-Grundschule in Tempelhof für das Projekt „Torf selbst machen– Torfmoos züchten – Moore schützen“. Mit dem vierten Preis im Wert von ebenfalls 500 Euro wurden sieben weitere Projekte ausgezeichnet
