Klinik Info Kanal KIK has concluded a framework contract with eyevis over 100 custom-built LCDs for its KiK Foyer for hospitals and large medical practices. The crucial factors driving the decision were sturdiness in full-time operation combined with excellent technology and a premium look complete with special varnishing. eyevis was able to convince KIK in all four areas with its super-slim eyeLCDs, which are customized to suit the precise customer’s requirements.
The panels are based on the 47" modules of the EYE-LCD-4700-LE-CUSTOM series with HD resolution, Edge LED backlight and a luminosity of 450 cd/m2. As part of the customization, the metal casings were powder-coated in black or white, embedded PCs were integrated and a four-millimetre thick, fully flush-mounted protective glass panel was worked in as a front to protect against vandalism.

The first few eyevis displays are already successfully in use in several foyers and cafeterias of the over 600 hospitals which are in cooperation with KIK.
