The widespread use of solar energy is no longer restricted only to certain politically favorable markets, but instead it has become a booming business in many countries around the world. Especially in the Middle East experts are expecting strong market growth in the coming years. Therefore, investors and companies need anchor points for a tailor-made market entry strategy that will give them access to their target markets.
Those attending the Intersolar Summit Middle East, which will take place from October 14 to 15, 2014 in Riyadh, the capital city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will receive a special opportunity to directly gain in-depth market knowledge of the area and excellent contact to the key players in the region. The country is considered a driving force in the development of renewable energy in the MENA region. It is aiming to have an installed capacity of 14.6 GW by 2020 – of which more than half will come from solar energy. At the same time, the country wants to offer the lowest production costs for photovoltaic systems in the world.
In light of this information, participants can expect numerous lectures from experienced leaders of global companies active in the solar industry, as well as high-level representatives from public authorities in the region. In mid-October the Intersolar Summit Middle East will offer an extensive program with contributions from high-level representatives from politics and business that will take place over two days on the exhibition grounds of the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center – RICEC. In addition, it also serves as an excellent opportunity to build upon existing relationships and develop new ones. An accompanying exhibition will round off this special event.
