The EndCustomerMonitor 4.0 discloses the results of a survey conducted by EuPD Research amongst home-owners in Germany, who already have had a PV system installed or who are planning an installation in 2014. It offers comprehensive insights regarding sales- and marketing strategies for modules, inverters and energy storage. Furthermore, topics such as brand awareness, satisfaction and buying motives are covered; in particular, the significance of service features and guarantees as key buying factors for end customers are analyzed.
Regarding Smart Home, this study surveys how end customers rate the general progress, how they collect information about the subject, which brands are known and from what type of advertisement the awareness is based on.
After a record-setting participance of around 3.000 end customers in 2013, around 5.000 system-owners and planners are expected to take part in this year's survey.
