EnviTec Biogas takes over biogas plants in Germany

From September 1st, three 526-kilowatt (kW) sites have boosted company-owned operations at EnviTec Biogas AG in Lower Saxony. With the takeover of the three biogas plants formerly operated by the agri.capital Group in Sukow, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the Lohne-based biogas all-rounder has an output from company-owned operations of 58 MW.

Constructed in 2006 by EnviTec, the plants run on an input mix of renewable resources and liquid manure. A small heating network for heating a pigsty is already in place: an extension is planned and will be installed before the end of the year.
