Schon bisher bekannt und beliebt war das Schauen von Live-TV auf mobilen Endgeräten mittels DVBLink auf Windows-Plattformen. Neben einem neuen, einheitlichen Design der Benutzeroberfläche unterstützt die DVBLink-App für iOS (Apple) ab sofort auch iOS9 und sie erlaubt eine unkomplizierte, automatische Erkennung auf dem DVBLink Server – inklusive einmalig eingetragene IP-Adresse des Servers. Diese Funktion gibt es natürlich auch für Android-Geräte. Darüber hinaus wurde sowohl bei der Apple- als auch bei Android-App die Funktionalität des optionalen TV Advisers integriert. So sind die Empfehlungsprofile jetzt auch auf mobilen Geräten verfügbar.
Die neue App bietet außerdem eine neue Server-Management-Oberfläche, um leichter zwischen den Modi „Heim“ und „Unterwegs“ hin und her zu schalten. Und last but not least: die neue Benutzeroberfläche unterstützt ab jetzt vier Sprachen: Deutsch, Englisch, Niederländisch und Russisch.
