Die Sicherheit der Kundendaten durch den steten Ausbau der Infrastruktur und die Integration innovativer Sicherheitstechnologien steht bei Dropbox an erster Stelle. Daher kündigt Dropbox heute die Zusammenarbeit mit Intel an, um die Daten seiner Kunden noch sicherer zu machen: Dropbox-Nutzer, die sich über die Dropbox-Website in ihr Konto anmelden, können künftig von den Vorteilen der Universal 2nd Factor (U2F)-Sicherheitsschlüssel profitieren, die in Intel Core-Prozessoren der 7. Generation eingebaut sind. Durch die neue Integration von Dropbox mit Intel erhalten Dropbox-Nutzer eine weitere Möglichkeit, sich vor der Bedrohung durch gestohlene Passwörter und Identitätsdiebstahl mittels Phishing-Attacken zu schützen.
