Advantech: Neue Automation Control Panels

Die TPC-71H Serie von Advantech wurde technisch aufgefrischt und um eine reiche Auswahl an Kommunikationsmodulen ergänzt.

Advantech stellt mit den lüfterlosen Touch Panel PCs TPC-671H, TPC-1071H, TPC-1271H, und TPC-1571H eine neue Serie für die Industrie vor. Besonders interessant für die Automatisierungstechnik ist hier, dass es serienmäßig digitale I/O-Ports gibt, einen Slot für 2,5"-SATA-Festplatten bzw. SSD und die Möglichkeit, eine Mini-PCI-E-Karte einzusetzen.

Das Herz der Geräte stellt ein energiesparender Intel®-ATOM©-Prozessor D525 mit 1.8GHz Taktfredquenz dar. Alle Geräte haben resistive Touch Screens, 4GB Arbeitsspeicher (TPC-671H: 1GB), viele Kommunikationsanschlüsse (UBS 2.0, RS-232/488, 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet) und einen Einschub für eine CompactFlash-Speicherkarte. Als Betriebssystem lässt sich Windows 7, Windows 7 embedded, XP embedded und Linux installieren.

In den Expansion Slot für Mini PCI-E (oder PCI-E bei den drei größeren Touch-Panle PCs) lassen sich Erweiterungskarten einsetzen, die z.B. zur Anbindung an Profibus, PROFINET, EtherCAT und Powerlink dienen können: Damit lassen sich die Geräte direkt in eine SPS-Umgebung einbinden.

Über eine externe Antenne und passende Kommunikationsmodule (z.B. als WLAN-Karte im Mini-PCI-E Format) kann man auf einfache Weise eine WLAN-Anbindung mit hervorragender Performance realisieren.
