Dr. Neuhaus presents security solution for IP-networks

(PresseBox) (Hamburg, )
Secure transfer of highly sensitive data: The TAINY iQ security router allows a protected communication and redundant connection of your M2M applications

In the past years Dr. Neuhaus Telekommunikation GmbH developed several security solutions to protect networks and their communication channels in the best possible way. The latest product in this matter is the TAINY iQ security router. It combines a mobile-, LAN-, VPN (Virtual Private Network)-router and a firewall in a single device. It offers secure transfer of sensitive data by encrypted end-to-end connections.

Dr. Neuhaus offers the TAINY iQ security router in two different product versions: the TAINY iQ-3GDS and TAINY iQ-4GDS. These involve either a HSPA (3G) or a LTE (4G) mobile radio modem. Both models are offered in addition in the variant E6, which includes an extra 5-port switch with VLAN support. This allows diverse substation application connections with seperated cables.

The external communication can be carried out either by wireless mobile radio connection or by wired WAN connection (LAN). These interfaces work redundant. It’s easily possible to realize a redundant, failsafe WAN connection thanks to configurable reactions on connection losses.

The integrated firewall protects the applications against unauthorized access – resulting in an optimal combination of flexibility and security. Responsible for stability and high availability is the intelligent communication management inside the TAINY iQ. Remote stations are connected secure and reliable into your network.

The new solutions extend the existing TAINY product family (http://neuhaus.de/Produkte/M2M_Telemetrie.php) and are now available.
