DILAS to Present at the AKL International Laser Technology Congress

Dr. Jens Biesenbach, Chief Technology Officer from DILAS Diodenlaser GmbH, will present a paper on "Diode Lasers From 410nm to 2200nm and their Applications" on Thursday, May 6, at the Laser Technology Conference that is part of AKL 2010 International Laser Technology Congress in Aachen, Germany.

Dr. Biesenbach's paper will focus on the progress within the semiconductor laser technology. Improvements in the process of epitaxial growing and new material combinations result in a wide wavelength spectrum. Extensions to shorter wavelengths down to 410nm (blue) as well as up to 2200nm (IR) for highpower diode laser modules are possible.
