Critical Manufacturing presents Industry 4.0 at IEEE

Francisco Almada Lobo will give a talk on Industry 4.0 addressing the challenges and possibilities that the 4th industrial revolution brings to the world of manufacturing

Francisco Almada Lobo will be one of the speakers at the 107th IEEE Region 8 Committee Meeting held in Porto on 24-25 of September 2016.

The IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) is the world’s largest technical professional society, comprising about 416,000 members, 1,300 of whom belong to the Portuguese section.

The Region 8 of the IEEE is formed by the national sections of countries in Europe, Africa and Middle East that gather professionals from different areas of engineering, and a growing community of students from international higher education institutions. The committee meetings, organized by one of the 57 sections integrated in the Region 8, are recognized prestigious events and gather participants from all over the world to discuss issues related to the IEEE mission.

Francisco Almada Lobo will give a talk during the upcoming Region 8 IEEE meeting, addressing the challenges and possibilities that the 4th industrial revolution brings to the world of manufacturing.
