Andreas Gerstenberger Takes Charge of ContiTech's Industrial Hose Business

Andreas Gerstenberger (51), who previously headed up the European trading companies under the ContiTrade umbrella, has taken over as the head of ContiTech’s global Industrial Fluid Systems business unit and the Industry Hose segment. Gerstenberger has worked for Continental Corporation for 21 years and for almost half of this time has managed the destiny of various tire organizations in North America. In his new role he will be based in the US city Fairlawn, Ohio, and reports directly to Hans-Jürgen Duensing, who is responsible for the ContiTech Division on the Continental Executive Board.

Industrial Fluid Systems operates globally with around 2,500 associates at 27 locations in 14 countries. The business unit is divided into two product market segments: Industry Hose and Oil & Gas, with development, production and sales centers for the raw materials, food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries among many others.
