Der diesjährige CAST-Workshop "SmartCards" thematisiert aktuelle Sicherheitsaspekte intelligenter Chipkarten in Hinblick auf kryptographische Angriffe, automatisierte Kommunikation zwischen Geräten und persönliche Identitätsnachweise auf Smartphones. Weitere Vorträge präsentieren die chipbezogene Umsetzung der europäischen Verordnung für elektronische Identifikation und Vertrauensdienste (eIDAS) und praktische Erfahrungen mit dem Bezahlen per Smartphone.
