BMW Motorrad Security Evo G3 racing boots - for road and race track

(PresseBox) (Munich, )
With the BMW S 1000 RR and BMW HP2 Sport, BMW Motorrad has struck a nerve with motorcyclists who have especially sporty aspirations. They do not just ride on public roads but frequently on the race track, too.

Like every BMW motorcycle, BMW Motorrad meets the very highest standards of safety, comfort and design. The very broad range of products will be extended as of October 2010 to include a race-proven daytona® sports boot model: the excellently finished Security Evo G3 racing boot with BMW Motorrad lettering and distinct colouring.

Optimum safety and outstanding accident protection.
The special hard shell system houses a concept which offers racers and sports riders optimum safety while maintaining a perfect fit and a high level of wear comfort.

The inner shoe consists of a torsion-resistant hard shell made of highly robust aramid. This abrasion-resistant material is integrated in three fabric layers in the toe area, which is especially at risk. To ensure the necessary mobility, there is a stretch zone also reinforced with aramid as well as a hinged joint. The BMW Motorrad Security Evo G3 racing boot not only has four-layer shinbone protection but also shock-absorbing inserts in the calf and heel areas.

The special non-slip sole is extremely rounded so that the rider is not distracted or hindered by irritating edges when banking at an extreme lean angle.

High-level comfort and functionality.

The inner shoe with anatomically formed heel bed is lined entirely with fine, sweat-absorbing leather. The cushioning under the shell not only perfectly fits the shape of the foot but also absorbs impacts.

The outer shoe, approximately 33 cm high and made of highly resilient kangaroo leather, is fitted with two velcro fasteners. This allows the shaft width to be adapted individually to the contour of the calves. The heel area of the outer shoe is also elastic to ensure that the boot feels like a second skin.

Where the shift lever often leaves marks, the boot is reinforced with abrasion-resistant PU material. The sliders made of highly resilient plastic are positioned in places subject to particular wear and can be replaced if necessary, as can the entire outer shell. For the ambitious race track rider the sliders are available in a reinforced version with abrasion-resistant inserts.

The BMW Motorrad Security Evo G3 racing boot designed for dry weather is available in the colour black/white in sizes 37 - 48.
