RTD-Simulationsbaustein zur exakten widerstandsbasierten Temperaturmessung

Das Unternehmen BEDEK, Dinkelsbühl, hat einen neuen und innovativen Simulationsbaustein zur Kalibrierungs-Überprüfung von RTDs (Resistance Temperature Detectors) vorgestellt. Der RTD-Simulator kann eine exakt festgelegte Temperatur für alle widerstandsbasierten Temperaturmessgeräte, z.B. PT-100, PT-500 oder PT-1000 simulieren. Der Baustein verfügt über einen extrem niedrigen TCR von ± 1 ppm/°C (-55°C bis + 125°C) sowie eine beeindruckende Load-Life-Stabilität (Tol. ± 0,005%). Die im BEDEK-Kalibrierzentrum in Dinkelsbühl produzierten RTD-Simulatoren bieten eine deutlich schnellere, einfachere und günstigere Alternative zu allen bekannten Simulatoren, wenn es um die Kalibrierung von Sendern, Temperaturmessgeräten, Reglern, Datenerfassungs- oder Laborgeräten geht. Die individuell gefertigten Bausteine können jeweils genau den auf ihnen abgedruckten bestimmten Temperaturwert zwischen -200°C und + 850°C höchstgenau simulieren. Sollte das geprüfte RTD-Gerät einen anderen Wert anzeigen, als auf dem Baustein angegeben, so muss es neu kalibriert werden. Auf Kundenwunsch wird der Simulator sofort einsatzbereit im Gehäuse mit den erforderlichen Anschlüssen für das Temperaturmessgerät geliefert.

Der RTD-Simulationsbaustein bietet Nennleistungen bis 0,6 W bei +70°C und eine maximale Betriebsspannung von 300 V. Weiter verfügt er über einen Widerstandsbereich von 10Ω bis 5 kΩ, mit einer engen Widerstandstoleranz von ± 0,005% (50 ppm). Mit einem nicht-induktiven (<0,08 uH) und nicht-kapazitiven Design bietet der Baustein eine Anstiegszeit von 1,0 ns und eine Thermospannung von 0,05 uV / °C. Der Spannungskoeffizient liegt bei weniger als 0,1 ppm/V - also beeindruckend gering - und Stromrauschen von 0,01 μVRMS / V der angelegten Spannung (<-40 dB). Weiter hält er ESD Spikes auf mindestens 25 kV stand und ist sowohl mit und ohne Blei (Pb) und Zinn/Blei-Legierungen erhältlich.
