Space-Marketing revisited - Schon 20 Jahre vor Zalandos „Space Shoe“ schickte das Bayerische Münzkontor® eine Telefonkarte ins All

Mit einigen Anlaufschwierigkeiten hat Onlinehändler Zalando für eine Marketingaktion einen Damenschuh per Ballon ins All geschickt und die Aktion multimedial dokumentiert. Doch schon mehr als 20 Jahre vorher hat das Bayerische Münzkontor® den Schritt in den Weltraum unternommen. 1993 schickte der Spezialist für Sammlerartikel eine Telefonkarte ins All. An Bord der russischen Raumkapsel "Sojus TM 16" wurde die Karte auf die russische Raumstation "Mir" transportiert und umkreiste mit dieser 21 Mal die Erde.

Bayerisches Münzkontor® drehte ersten Werbespot im Weltraum

Zugleich entstand während des Weltraumtrips der allererste im All gedrehte Werbespot. Die Hauptrolle darin spielte - neben der Telefonkarte - der russische Kosmonaut Alexander Serebrow.

Auch wenn das (Sammler-)Interesse an Telefonkarten inzwischen spürbar nachgelassen hat - den kultigen Weltraum-Werbespot kann man sich auch heute noch im Youtube-Kanal des Bayerischen Münzkontors® anschauen:
