Smart-Inventory inventarisiert Windows-Rechner über eine Internet-Verbindung

Die Software Smart-Inventory der AventoSoft GmbH weist ab Version V2.3 ein zusätzliches Leistungsmerkmal auf. Es ermöglicht die Inventarisierung von Windows-Rechnern über eine einfache TCP/IP-Verbindung. Nicht erforderlich sind Protokolle wie Datei- und Druckerfreigabe, Remote Registry oder DCOM

Problemlos lassen sich so auch Rechner inventarisieren, die über das Internet an das Firmennetzwerk angebunden sind. Zum Beispiel Notebooks von Mitarbeitern im Außendienst, Rechner in Filialen oder im Home Office sowie die Netzwerke der Kunden von IT-Dienstleistern. Firewalls, NAT-Router und VPNs sind hierbei kein Hindernis.

Im LAN hilft dieses neue Leistungsmerkmal, hartnäckige Sicherheits-, DCOM- oder Firewall-Probleme zu umgehen.

Zusammen mit der vollständigen Unterstützung der englischen Betriebssystem Versionen ist dieses Leistungsmerkmal ab Smart-Inventory Version V2.3 verfügbar. Das Update auf Smart-Inventory V2.3 ist kostenlos und kann vom WWW-Server des Herstellers http://www.AventoSoft.de herunter geladen werden.

Mit der Eintragung in das Münchner HRB im Jahre 2003 begann die AventoSoft GmbH ihre Arbeit. Ziel war und ist es, Softwareprodukte herzustellen und zu vertreiben, die vor allem kleine und mittelständige Unternehmen beim Betrieb ihrer DV-Infrastruktur wirkungsvoll unterstützen.

Schon im Jahr 2004 wurde mit DV-Inventar ein erstes Produkt erfolgreich in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz in den Markt eingeführt. Zu dieser Zeit war es eines der wenigen Produkte, die Windows-Netzwerke agentenlos inventarisieren konnten.

Mit Easy-Inventory wurde im Jahr 2007 eine weitere Inventarisierungslösung in den Vertrieb überführt. Für Klein- und Kleinstunternehmen wurde mit diesem Produkt ein Werkzeug bereitgestellt, das jedes Windows-Netzwerk inventarisiert. Ergänzt wurde das Produkt durch Stick-Inventory, mit dem sich DV-Dienstleister vor Ort schnell einen Überblick über Hard- und Software im Netzwerk ihrer Kunden verschaffen konnten.

Im Jahre 2009 wurde die Inventarisierungslösung Smart-Inventory in den Vertrieb überführt. Diese Weiterentwicklung von DV-Inventar wurde an die erhöhten Sicherheitsmechanismen der neueren Windows Versionen angepasst und bietet dem Anwender neben vielen Verbesserungen im Detail einen einfachen Helpdesk.
