Assentis:DocFamily 4.3 software suite shifts to Web-based management. The new release 4.3 of Assentis:DocFamily now offers Web-browser based monitoring and management of print jobs.

(PresseBox) (Rotkreuz, )
Assentis’ Output Management solution enables companies to design, create and distribute individual, personalized documents and serial letters. The open standards-based software is designed to handle the full spectrum of business communications ranging from transactional to interactive, fully customized document creation and processing. The new release focuses on greatly simplified, Web-based administration with Assentis:DocAdmin, enabling users to track print job status without having to install the DocAdmin solution on their individual desktop.

Assentis:DocDesign, the solution for designing document templates, now features advanced graphics, allowing for even faster, more flexible design and creation of tables and charts. Pie charts or bar charts with captions can be developed within minutes. Data residing in ERP, CRM, SCM systems or production control systems can be embedded using placeholder variables quickly and conveniently, just as you are used to. DocDesign enables users to combine diverse components such as adress bars, headers and/or footers, text modules and charts when designing a template. Templates can be edited in different languages. In addition, DocDesign supports embedding of customized fonts to boost Corporate Design and consistent appearance.

An advanced tutorial is included to get users started with the Web-based document editor DocWrite. Templates assist users in creating individual letters, agreements, reports or quotes using the Web Browser, either in WYSIWYG – What you see is what you get – format or in form view. Once the document is created, output can be directed to various output channels, like printer or E-mail. DocFamily’s server module DocBase provides the core functionality for managing and controlling complex document composition processes. The comprehensive solution supports all types of communication, from handling high-volume transactional output as well as on demand document applications. Based on open standards, the tool merges input data with document templates and processes data for print output or E-mail distribution.

„Today companies face the challenge of having to convey unique, engaging communications to boost customer outreach. In the best of all worlds, when sending out marketing information, customers should ideally only receive emails which are relevant to them“, says Stephan Vanberg, VP Sales & Marketing with Assentis. „However, as organizations place greater emphasis on business process efficiency and cost reduction, transactional document automation is becoming a key issue. Assentis:DocFamily meets the growing need for a flexible, fully scalable and dynamic solution enabling companies to quickly and easily modify document templates and components while offering fast creation of dynamic, personalized documents.“
