December 4th, 2014, Taipei – As a global leader in the intelligent systems market, Advantech is hosting the Embedded World Partner Conference (WPC) in Taipei City HQ and Linkou IoT Campus from December 4th to 6th on the theme of “Catching the Coming Big Waves of IoT & Smart City”. During three days of activities, several important guests from Intel®, Microsoft, ARM, Freescale and IHS are invited to give talks on the future trends and developments in Smart City and IoT Solutions. In addition, partners will also be invited to visit Advantech’s newly launched IoT Campus in Linkou City to demonstrate its Intelligent building features as well as the latest concepts and solutions for IoT.

KC further added that WISE-Cloud is a cloud solution developed through comprehensive wireless technology especially for the IoT industry. In addition, Advantech has three strategic directions for WISE-Cloud development: internal development, partner collaborations, and external investment.
-Internal Development: develop a dedicated WISE-Cloud team to form a business model for its customer service
-Partner Collaborations: collaborate with IoT cloud platform infrastructure enterprises such as Microsoft, Amazon, Alibaba, Baidu and others
-External Investment: actively invest in 3rd party cloud application services companies

Moreover, following the WISE-Cloud concept, all embedded solutions will be integrated with all types of wireless data acquisition solutions, WISE-Cloud software for manageability, security functions, and sensor-to-cloud connectivity solutions.
