Until June 30th German and European Companies can apply for this prize designed for awarding innovative and trustworthy information technology. TeleTrusT Germany, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to establishing trustworthy and reliable framework conditions for the application of information and communication technology. Founded eighteen years ago, TeleTrusT developed into a widely known and acknowledged competency network for the issues of IT security in Germany and Europe. Today, TeleTrusT represents over eighty-five member organizations from the industry, science and research sectors, as well as public authorities.
Members have the opportunity to engage in a multitude of interesting theme and project working groups addressing current issues of IT security and security management. TeleTrusT operates the European Bridge CA project which meanwhile has issued 700.000 public key certificates to affiliated participants for secure e-mail communication over the internet.
