TeleTrusT supports 2008 PCI conference of FrankfurtInternational standard regulations against larceny and fraud of debit and credit card data More than 100 IT-security experts assemble at the PCI Frankfurt 2008. (pressebox) Berlin, Frankfurt, 17.04.2008 - TeleTrusT Germany supports as a strategic partner the 2008 PCI conference of Frankfurt where topics around the credit card regulations PCI DSS will be outlined and discussed. Over hundred experts from all German speaking countries are expected to share their opinions about secure electronic handling of payments and the protection of cross- border payment transactions.
Big credit card organizations like Visa, MasterCard and American Express call for trading firms and service providers which save, transfer or handle debit and credit card transactions to comply with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), the framework of rules and regulations. TeleTrusT supports PCI Frankfurt as a strategic partner and invites the employees of member companies to take part in it as speakers or visitors.
It is the target of the conference to make the relevance of PCI DSS standards for electronic payments security accessible to European companies, to advance the exchange of knowledge and experience and to inform about best practice examples and innovations.
