OpenOffice.org Portable in neuer Version 2.3.1 veröffentlicht

OpenOffice.org Portable, die Version von OpenOffice.org für den USB-Stick, wurde heute in der aktuellen Version 2.3.1 erstmals in Deutsch, Englisch, Französisch und Italienisch veröffentlicht. Das neue Release aktualisiert die Office Suite auf die aktuelle Version und ergänzt die UNO-Python-Bridge für eine bessere Kompatibilität mit noch mehr Extensions. Sie kann besser mit temporären Dateien umgehen, hat einen verbesserten Launcher sowie Installer und ist zugleich digital signiert, um die Authentizität des Paketes sicherzustellen.

Diese offizielle deutsche Version des englischsprachigen Originals von John Haller (PortableApps.com) wird unter Mitarbeit von Mitgliedern des Vereins OpenOffice.org Deutschland e.V. und des deutschsprachigen Projektes von OpenOffice.org erstellt. Sie ist im PortableApps.com-Format gepackt und kann somit leicht in die gleichnamige Suite integriert werden. Genauso wie OpenOffice.org selbst, ist sie Open Source und vollkommen frei.
