AGO AG Energie + Anlagen (cusip number: A0LR41; ISIN: DE000A0LR415) a specialist for construction and operation of biomass cogeneration plants based on wood chips announces the establishment of AGO energy (Pty) Ltd., Cape Town. The operational objective of the new South African company is the planning and construction of industrial energy supply facilities in Africa. The main interest of the 100 % AGO subsidiary is the market development for trigeneration and energy efficiency projects for the medium-sized industry. AGO energy (Pty) Ltd. is planning the realization of energy projects with a total volume up to EUR 5.0 millions.

The main operation focus of AGO energy (Pty) Ltd. is the identification of potential projects. Taking into consideration the market development in South Africa, the AGO group cooperates with a local partner - similar to its other foreign partnerships. The Managing Director Ralph M. Ertner, engaged in business in South Africa since 11 years, will guide and control AGO energy (Pty) Ltd. in situ in cooperation with the executive manager of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen, Uwe Kern.

Already in June 2008 AGO AG Energie + Anlagen got a turnkey contract for the construction of an energy center for the Heineken brewery in South Africa. The order value of EUR 3.75 millions includes the engineering, delivery, installation and commissioning of an energy center in Gauteng, a suburb of Johannesburg.
