Acer Inc. veröffentlicht die Finanzergebnisse des ersten bis dritten Quartals 2008. Der konsolidierte Umsatz lag bei 411,3 Mrd. NT Dollar (12,8 Mrd. US Dollar), was einem Wachstum von 31% gegenüber des Vorjahreszeitraums entspricht. Das Betriebsergebnis belief sich auf 10,1 Mrd. NT Dollar (314 Mio. US Dollar) nach Abzug der Aufwendungen für den Mitarbeiterbonus und der Vergütung des Vorstands, was vor Abzug dieser Aufwendungen einem Wachstum von 73% gegenüber des Vorjahreszeitraums entspricht.
