The Y.Cheetah combines proven and reliable Feinfocus X-ray technology with advanced high-speed flat panel detector technology. Its innovative manipulation capabilities take efficiency in operation control and usability to a standard unmatched in the industry. Zoom+ Technology deploys synchronized tube and detector motion, giving users a truly constant image contrast at the highest resolution. In addition, PowerDrive enables the repositioning of imaging components at constant magnification for higher contrast and power, lower noise, or fast imaging and 3D scanning. Both 1-click solutions allow even inexperienced operators to fulfill complex inspection tasks.

Y.Cheetah flexibly adapts to inspection tasks -failure analysis, research and development, process control and production testing. The system is configured within seconds, from single to multiple part inspections, manual inspection to 1-click series inspection, 2D to high-speed microfocus computed tomography (µCT) and even to other dedicated solutions, such as the Y.T&R Module for Tape and Reel inspection. Various options are available to adapt the Y.Cheetah to future inspection tasks through upgrades and a growing range of dedicated inspection modules. This enormous flexibility gives companies an outstanding degree of investment protection.
Standard with the Y.Cheetah system is the most efficient manipulation and operation control in the market. The ultimate performance of 160 kV, 64 W microfocus technology with high-speed flat panel detectors makes Y.Cheetah the most powerful inspection solution available. The inspection area is 18" x 16" (460 mm x 410 mm) and can be viewed at ±70° even at the highest geometric magnification. The inspection area is easily visible through a large window. Through an automated door, users respond effortlessly to the most dynamic requirements. Excellent ergonomics and the intuitive Y.FGUI software with 1-click solutions for manipulation and image analysis simplify even complex inspection tasks.
The Feinfocus Solution Y.Cheetah guarantees highest quality real-time X-ray imaging by means of its high-precision air-suspended manipulator. Y.Cheetah is packaged in an attractive, compact unit measuring approximately 4'7" (1400 mm) wide by 6'1" (1850 mm) high. Options include but are not limited to Feinfocus Multi-Focus Tube and High-Power Target, Y.µCT Module for 3D inspection including the extremely successful Y.QuickScan, additional trays, manipulation devices and sample holders.
