A new series of unidirectional TVS diodes from Lilttelfuse is now available from TTI, Inc., the world's leading specialist distributor of passive, connector, electromechanical and discrete components. The SD05 Series 450W of discrete unidirectional TVS diodes is designed to replace multilayer varistors (MLVs) in electronic equipment for low speed and DC applications and protects sensitive equipment from damage due to ESD and other transient events.

Littelfuse SD05 Series TVS diodes safely cope with repetitive ESD events at ±30kV (contact discharge, IEC 61000-4-2) without performance degradation and dissipate 30A of 8/20μs induced surge current (IEC61000-4-5) with very low clamping voltages.
