Third order within a year from Bangladesh for power plant components

Siemens Energy received its third order within a year from Bangladesh for the delivery of power plant components and spare parts. All three power plant blocks are being built in Ashuganj in eastern Bangladesh, about 100 kilometers northeast of the capital city Dhaka. After the previous component orders for the 225-megawatt (MW) Ashuganj and 400-MW Ashuganj South projects, Siemens is now supplying an SGT5-4000F gas turbine, an SST-3000 steam turbine, and a SGen5-2000H generator, including the supply of operational spare parts for the Ashuganj North power plant block.
