Change of leadership at Reverse Logistics Group

Dr. Gerd Slotta to succeed Achim Winter as CEO

(PresseBox) (Dornach, ) The Reverse Logistics Group, the leading European-wide specialist in reverse logistics, is making a leadership change effective September 1. Dr. Gerd Slotta will assume the position of Chief Executive Officer, following Achim Winter.

Achim Winter will be handing over the CEO role after many years of successful management in which he substantially transformed and positioned the Group for European-wide growth. After having successfully integrated CCR Logistics AG, Vfw GmbH, and Cycleon Netherlands B.V., Mr. Winter will complete his long-planned transition out of operational management. He will remain a shareholder and an active member of the Supervisory Board of RLG with responsibilities including networking, lobbying, and international acquisitions.

Dr. Gerd Slotta (52) brings a wealth of logistics industry experience to the Reverse Logistics Group. Recently, Dr. Slotta served for many years as Chairman of the Board of WLS GmbH. Prior to that, Dr Slotta worked with companies such as Schenker, Roland Berger & Partner, and Kuhne & Nagel in various executive positions. Achim Winter comments, "I am highly pleased that Dr. Gerd Slotta will lead the next phase of the development of the Reverse Logistics Group. Also effective September 1, Marc Zube will become CEO of CCR Logistics Systems AG, a position also previously held by Achim Winter. Marc Zube is currently COO of CCR Logistics Systems AG. Prior to joining CCR, Mr. Zube had experience with DMR Consulting, gloocorp, dtg Deutsche Telefongesellshaft, and Andersen Consulting.

Reverse Logistics Group is the specialist for European take-back logistics. Its subsidiaries CCR Logistics Systems AG (Dornach, near Munich) Cycleon Netherlands B.V. (Utrecht), and Vfw GmbH (Cologne) are leading operators for take-back systems for products and packaging throughout Europe.

Reverse Logistics GmbH (RLG), in Dornach near Munich, is an indirect subsidiary of Monitor Clipper Equity Partners II L.P. and other owners, mainly previous CCR shareholders. At the moment, RLG has 3 affiliated companies, CCR Logistics Systems AG, Cycleon Netherlands B.V. and Vfw GmbH.
