Nanogate at K trade fair: N-Metals Chrome as new development
New worlds of design to be unveiled / Negotiations on first projects for new technology platform at advanced stage / Nanogate to standardise range of brands / Group to feature at K trade fair for plastics in Düsseldorf in October
Michael Jung, COO of Nanogate AG explains, "Nanogate is enabling new worlds of design. Products and surfaces with a chrome look are in strong demand worldwide. N-Metals Chrome is the solution that a lot of companies have been waiting for, as they require an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional electroplating processes. Our globally leading solution also offers more design possibilities and additional functions. We are currently generating significant interest in our systems and expect the first projects to begin in 2017. The introduction of our new technology is also the right moment to intensify our branding activities. A key element of this is to harmonise the names of all our subsidiaries in order to ensure a uniform market presence."
New brand range
As part of its new brand presence, the Group is standardising the naming of its operating subsidiaries under the Nanogate umbrella. The names of the individual companies will in future contain the Group name as well as the word "Systems". In each case, the brand and core activities will be maintained. The individual companies will also benefit from the Group’s star quality. For example, GfO AG, which has had a stand at the world’s leading plastics trade fair for many years, will in future operate as Nanogate GfO Systems AG. In addition, the Group will in future market its systems and solutions in both strategic growth areas under the umbrella brands N-Glaze (for plastics applications) and N-Metals (for metals and metallisation).
Globally leading technology
In addition to this globally leading process, the Nanogate Group will also be presenting its broad range of services in the manufacture and enhancement of plastics as an integrated systems provider at the K trade fair, the world’s top exhibition for the plastics industry. With its plastics specialists, including GfO, Vogler, plastic-design and Goletz, the Group covers the complete value chain in the production of plastic components. From materials development and injection moulding to process integration, mass production and coating, the Group serves and supports its customers globally on a long-term basis.
