Release of IDA-STEP v4.6 and CircuitCAM v7.0

IDA-STEP is a system to view and edit industrial product model data based on STEP, ISO 10303.
STEP is most widely known for the exchange of 3D models and assembly structures. But STEP is supporting many more areas such as electrical and electronic designs, kinematics, manufacturing and more.
A special focus of IDA-STEP is GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) directly on the 3D model. With the release of IDA-STEP v4.6 the capabilities of creating and editing GD&T specifications according to ISO and ASME standards have been greatly enhanced. An overview of the new capabilities is available on our website.
You can see videos of the IDA-STEP GD&T Editor in action. The GD&T Editor brings new capabilities that were only available in high-end CAD systems to everyone. This is a revolutionary new kind of tool.
The free IDA-STEP Viewer Basic is available for download from www.ida-step.net. After installation you can upgrade the free viewer to a 30 day evaluation license of the IDA-STEP Viewer Pro 3D.
CircuitCAM is a Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) system for printed circuit boards (PCBs). For many years CircuitCAM was exclusively used by the world market leader for
- 2D milling and drilling machines for PCB prototyping
- 2D Laser cutting machines for SMT solder paste stencils
Until today more than 10 000 CircuitCAM licenses have been sold. With the new version CircuitCAM 7.0, the software is no longer bound to a particular machine vendor. It is now directly available from LKSoft or from the machine vendor of your choice.
The free CircuitCAM Viewer for CAM files and many exchange formats used for PCBs is available for download. Please visit the dedicated CircuitCAM website at www.circuitcam.com.
