LINOS order intake in the second quarter considerably higher than in the previous year
The order intake in the second quarter includes a major, longer-term order placed by a leading European technology company. The order covers several years and has a volume of about EUR 20 million. In the context of this order, LINOS will be supplying high-quality optical systems for helicopter and aircraft self-defense equipment.
Revenue in the second quarter totalled EUR 16.2 million, which was 22.0 per cent lower than in the same quarter the previous year (EUR 20.7 million). LINOS generated revenue of EUR 33.4 million in the first half of 2009; this was a reduction of 23.7 per cent over the first half of 2008.
