Dr Markus Ehbrecht is new Sales/Marketing and Development Director at LINOS Photonics
Dr Ehbrecht has been at LINOS since 2006. He started as head of the Photonic Industries business unit and was appointed to run the Industrial Manufacturing business division in January 2007. He was also interim manager of the Göttingen location from August to October 2006. Before he joined LINOS, Dr Ehbrecht spent eight years with the Agfa Group, where he was a project manager with responsibility for such developments as the "Digital Minilab d-lab.1". In 2004, this product won the TIPA (Technical Image Press Association) Award presented by the European photographic trade press. Ehbrecht studied physics in Göttingen and obtained his doctorate at the Max Planck Institute for Flow Research.

Dr Ehbrecht is taking over assignments from Volker Brockmeyer, who continues to be responsible for strategic company development, the supply net operations and the sales subsidiaries in the LINOS Photonics corporate management. Hubertus Dornieden is in charge of the finance and administration department, while Dr Robert Vollmers is head of operations.Dr Mario Ledig co-ordinates central sales/marketing issues in liaison with the Qioptiq Group.
