CGI receives Oracle Web Commerce Systems Integrator of the Year award and establishes "CGI ATG Foundation"

The award recognises CGI as a trusted partner delivering excellent change management projects based on Oracle Web Commerce solutions. CGI is a Platinum level Oracle partner.
The award particularly recognised CGI's position as a trusted partner with extensive cross-channel and eBusiness knowledge, alongside strong Oracle ATG and Endeca capabilities. More than 230 CGI eBusiness experts in Europe and Australia serve customers in the retail, telecommunications and financial services industries, providing sophisticated technical and business consulting services, software implementations and integrations as well as platform enhancement and maintenance services. The Europe/Australia team is a major part of CGI's worldwide eCommerce global delivery network, which comprises over 1,000 dedicated professionals who have managed large and complex e-commerce programs for numerous well-known enterprises.
CGI is committed to enhancing its knowledge and experience of delivering Oracle ATG projects for the benefit of clients. In order to take this to its full potential, CGI have developed a methodology and software development process based on Oracle ATG technology which is referred to as the "CGI ATG Foundation". The investment in this unique internal initiative allows CGI to deliver projects within shorter timescales and reduce the complexity of large eCommerce programs. The foundation develops content like a ready-to-go shop - providing basic features and functionality in reusable components which can be utilised as required on a project-by-project basis.
